Karl Drake
Karl Drake is an Irish Dance instructor and adjudicator, certified with An Coimisiún Le Rinci Gaelacha, in Dublin Ireland.
Director and Owner of the Drake School of Irish Dance in Atlanta, Georgia, with satellite locations in Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Hawaii, Mexico and China. Dance Master with over 30 years’ experience in Irish dance instruction, choreography, and adjudication.

Anna Maki is our lead teacher. She began dancing when she was 4 and has been dancing for 18 years. She started competing at 8 years old and finished her career with Drake School of Dance .
Top placements being 1st place in Southern Region Oireachtas, 6th in the Nation, 6th at the All Scotlands, and 10th in the World.
Anna is also our prima

Anna is also our primary performance choreographer and teaches all levels of competitive dance.

Jesse Maki
Jesse Maki is an assistant teacher. He has been dancing since the age of 13.
From 2019-2021, he danced for The Doherty Petri School of Irish dance, winning the Mid-Atlantic Oireachtas in 2019.
Top placements include 3rd at the All Ireland’s, All Scotland’s, Great Britain’s and placing 7th at the World Championships.
