About Us

At Naples School of Irish Dance, we pride ourselves on our rich history and commitment to excellence. Opened in 2021 and affiliated with, esteemed Karl Drake, ADCRG, TCRG, our studio is part of the world-renowned Drake School of Irish Dance.

Meet the Teachers

Karl Drake

Anna Maki, TCRG

Anna Maki, TCRG

Karl Drake is an Irish Dance instructor and adjudicator, certified with An Coimisiún Le Rinci Gaelacha, in Dublin Ireland. He is director and owner of the Drake School of Irish Dance in Atlanta, Georgia, with satellite locations in Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Hawaii, Mexico and China. Drake is a Dance Master with over 30 years of experience in Irish dance instruction, choreography, and adjudication.

Anna Maki, TCRG

Anna Maki, TCRG

Anna Maki, TCRG

Anna Maki is our lead teacher and certified TCRG. She began dancing when she was four and has been dancing for 18 years. Maki started competing at 8-years old and finished her career with Drake School of Dance. Top placements include 1st place in Southern Region Oireachtas, 6th in the Nation, 6th at the All Scotlands, and 10th in the World. She is also the primary performance choreographer,  teaching all levels of competitive dance.
