About Us

The Carson Academy is a globally recognized, award-winning Irish dance academy with its roots in Northern  Ireland. In April 2026, The Carson Academy expanded to the United States, announcing its first US location in Naples, Florida under the direction of D'Anna Maki TCRG. Classes are offered at every level, from beginner through elite competitor. Naples School of Irish Dance is proud to support The Carson Academy's mission by providing community outreach and broader access to Irish dance training, supporting competitive dance and offering performance-based training with events across the Southwest Florida region.

Meet the Teachers

D'Anna Maki, TCRG

D'Anna Maki, TCRG

D'Anna Maki, TCRG

D'Anna Maki is our lead teacher and certified TCRG. She began dancing when she was four and has been dancing for 18 years. Anna started competing at 8-years old and finished her career with Drake School of Dance. Top placements include 1st place in Southern Region Oireachtas, 6th in the Nation, 6th at the All Scotlands, and 10th in the World. She is also the primary performance choreographer,  teaching all levels of competitive dance.

Gracie DiMartino

D'Anna Maki, TCRG

Gracie DiMartino is our assistant teacher and began her Irish dance journey at the age of 8. She teaches all levels of competitive dance. Gracie concluded her competitive career with the Kelly Academy of Irish Dance and achieved notable success, including a 10th place finish at the Southern Region Oireachtas and placing 22nd at the Nationals.
